Day rate
For defined projects or short-term cover, a day rate gives you focused support when you need it. I’ll agree priorities and availability with you in advance.
Part-time retainer
For ongoing support, a regular retainer gives your team a reliable amount of communications capacity each month, with clear priorities and agreed hours.
Project fee
For one-off pieces of work, I’ll scope the deliverables and provide a fixed project fee before we begin.

Why me, for interim work
Interim cover works best when the person stepping in already understands the context — charities, nonprofits, lean teams, mission-driven organisations. That's where I've spent my career.
I've written the newsletter, briefed the board, chased the deadline, and explained the results to the people who needed to see them. I've also volunteered as fundraising lead for a UK defence and security nonprofit, so I understand what it's like to run comms with limited time and no team to delegate to.
I'm quick to pick up new tools, comfortable with complexity, and not precious about how things are done. Just focused on what works.
